If you ever plan to take a trip, take a trip to Singapore!This city-state country is beautiful. Unlike some areas in S. E. Asia, you hardly notice any economic difference from being back home. Sure there are areas of destitution, but what do you expect in a city w/ a pop. of 3 million? It is the same anywhere. The only difference b/w here and there ishow beautiful it is. The green is so abundant. The trees, year round flowers. What more could you ask for? Well, you could ask for culture, and there is plenty of it! Boutiques forshopping, Musuems filled w/ history, art, culture,....IT is all here for you! And the clincher is the cute little lizardsyou will see literally everywhere. Don't fear, they are reallyharmless and really cute. You will be lucky to see them though,unless you are looking for them at night, which is somethingSingapore has an abundance of. A night life. Yes, it is allhere.

And while you are there, check out the Chinese traditional opera (Wayang). Set in full w/ the entire makeup, costume,and song.Another must is the Singapore Zoo and Night Safari. A littleoutside of the city, take a taxi to see a wide variety of animals in as close to their natural habitat as might behumanly possible. Polar Bears swimming, a King Cheeta, Lions,a baby Black Panther, Hippos, Komodo Dragons, and on, and on,and on.
